Abstract
The procedures behind recent results on charm fragmentation fractions and associated derived variables obtained by the ZEUS collaboration are presented. Reconstruction of the D*+, D+, D0 and Ds+ mesons and Λc+baryons is outlined and related to their production cross sections which are in turn related to some associated variables also measured at ZEUS.
