Abstract

A vector method has been developed which predicts the amount of reciprocal rotation in any slightly non-planar ring, subject to modest ( < almost-equal-to 10-degrees) incident angles on the mirrors. For a twisted four-mirror ring, the method was in agreement with experimental results and a standard beam-based calculation of the rotation.
