Abstract

US patent number 7258775, European patent number 1287348 The invention relates to a method for the qualitative and/or quantitative analysis of a protein and/or peptide pattern of a liquid sample that is derived from the human or animal body. The proteins and peptides of the liquid sample are separated by capillary electrophoresis, then directly ionized and transferred for analysis online via an interface to a mass spectrometer coupled thereto.
