Abstract

The case of an eosinophilic granuloma on the palate of a three-year-old male Pug is presented. The clinical findings, definite diagnosis using surgical excision for histopathological examination and successful corticosteroid therapy are explained. This tumour, which belongs to the eosinophilic granuloma complex, often occurs in cats, but is rarely seen in dogs and is described here for the first time in a Pug.
