Abstract

The viewers of the final pre-election "superdebate" on Czech TV, broadcast on Wednesday 6th October, 2021, would have despaired. Czech politicians are planning absolutely to ignore the climate crisis and are not organising any measures against it. Fortunately, the Czech public has a much more sensible and much more serious attitude to the threatening climate crisis. Will the Czech politicians start respecting facts and public opinion? This is one of the issues that Jan Čulík discusses with Martin Vrba, a journalist and an Extinction Rebellion activist. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 8th October 2021.
