Abstract

Should we criticise Czech President Zeman's spokesperson Ovčáček for deliberately disseminating lies and nonsense which he publishes on Twitter? A recent analysis, discussed on BBC Radio 4, warns that if people re-tweet materials with which they disagree, criticising them, this still leads to their viral dissemination. What to do? Britské listy journalist Bohumil Kartous argues in a discussion with Jan Čulík that it is vital publicly to criticise ELECTED POLITICIANS if their disseminate nonsense in order to win the elections. This interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from Friday 23rd July 2021.
