Abstract
It ilooks as though the pandemic is shedding light on the disintegration of the Czech state. While globally, almost the largest number of people per capita are dying of covid in the Czech Republic, Czech politicians now intend to worsen the pandemic by suggesting that schools should be opened. The Pirate Party and the ANO Party continue to support child debt collection. Some Czech MPs want to take away social security payments from those individuals who commit a minor offence. Prague sanitary officials fail to instruct pupils to self-isolate even if their teacher tests positive for coronavirus. The Czech Health Ministry fails to react to a repeated query about where he should register for his covid vaccinations, raised by the guest of today's Britské listy Interview, Petr Haraším from the city of Orlová, who is blind, has undergone three transplantations, has a compromised immunity system and without covid vaccinations his life under threat. What to do? Jan Čulík talks to Petr Haraším in this interview, which was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 10th February 2021.
