Abstract

Approximately 45 per cent of the Czech citizens do not want to be vaccinated. In this interview, Britské listy journalists Jan Čulík and Bohumil Kartous compare the attitudes of people towards the coronavirus pandemic and the the anti-coronavirus vaccinations in the Czech Republic, in the United Kingdom and in the West in general. If the Czech Republic does not manage to do away with the enormous impact of online disinformation, there will be a catastrophe. Disinformation makes people reject vaccination. Yet the new coronavirus variant is spreading fast and hospitals are being overwhelmed by seriously sick people. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz on 6th January 2021.
