Abstract

English summary: Carbon 14 has now become the most widely used scientific and technological 1980s in the field of archaeology, but any carbon fourtean data into the actual calendar year can not be separated from the correction curve. In 2020, the latest carbon fourteer correction curve was officially released, once again attracting wide attention and discussion in various disciplines. For the archaeological community, the biggest concern is whether the newly released carbon-14 correction curve will affect the existing sequence of time. This paper compares the old and new correction curves (IntCal20 and IntCal13) in the northern hemisphere by qualitative and quantitative methods, and finds that the main differences between the two exist in the two large time frames before 30,000 BP and 11000-10000 BP, which have little influence on the chinese Neolithic and Bronze Age frameworks in the relative concentration of carbon data.
