Abstract

Game-based learning provides a way to engage researchers on potentially complex or dry topics, in a way that is casual, interactive and effective. Many games have been developed to enable research support services to educate their researchers about various things, ranging from copyright and licensing, through to Open Access and research data management. The aim of this event is to provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about educational games, to discuss the challenges involved in game development, and to discover games that are already out there and available to use.
