Abstract

The recent experience of delivering the United Kingdom and Ireland Computing Education Research (UKICER) conference has provided insight into the strength and vibrancy of the computing education research community within the region. UKICER, alongside the Computing Education Practice (CEP) conference has the potential to significantly serve academic staff in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The potential for both venues could be greater if the review process were refined to ensure the community continues to engage even more academics with the community while maintaining the quality of both venues. Consequently, the present proposal is to pilot the use of rolling reviews for the upcoming CEP 2021, UKICER 2021 and CEP 2022.
