Abstract

In the past few days, the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson made the decision that his international treaty about the UK leaving the EU is unsatisfactory. He did so although it was him personally that concluded this treaty with Brussels last autumn, praised it to heaven as "oven-ready", had it approved by the House of Commons and won the general election on its basis. Johnson has now decided to have Parliament approve a new domestic Act which will infringe this international treaty. Bohumil Kartous and Jan Čulík talk about where the United Kingdom, or rather England, is currently moving under the leadership of Boris Johnson. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from Wednesday 16th September 2020.
