Abstract

If I worked as a waiter in a restaurant which has been closed by the order of the Czech government, or as an employee in a firm which cannot operate during the coronavirus crisis, how will the Czech government help me? Should the Czech Republic distribute helicopter money? And will really this crisis end within a month or, as the Czech government says, by 11th April 2020? Jan Čulík talks in this TV interview with economist Daniel Münich from CERGE-EI. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from Wednesday 1st April 2020.
