Abstract

Roma in the Czech Republic receive funding from abroad to finance grants for talented, but poor Roma students. A considerable number of Czech Roma provide small grants for this purpose, but the number of sponsors among Czech firms of such programmes is relatively small. Jan Čulík talks to psychologist and fund raiser Monika Mihakličková from Romea.cz, about these programmes and about her attempts to find more sponsors to help the education of Roma people in the Czech Republic.
