Abstract

Jan Čulík talks to David Tišer, the Director of the ARA ART (BEWARE, ART) theatre which produces highly successful Roma plays with a social content. The theatre tours many places in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. David Tišer does not only speak about the work of his theatre but also about his organisation´s support for the LGBT Roma community and about racism in the Czech Republic. "It is difficult to understand this if you have not experienced it yourself." The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 2nd August, 2019.
