Abstract
This article notes the unaddressed issue of limitless recognition in Jesús Martín-Barbero’s text. It then goes on to consider themes arising from his argument about Latin America that are relevant to a changing Europe: most notably, those dealing with supranationality, communicative space and locality. The response concludes by noting the need to think through an approach to positive constitutionalism.
