Abstract
At the 2019 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Jan Čulík interviews Bohdan Karásek, the director of his first feature film Karel , já a ty (Charlie, myself, and you). This is a film about personal relationships of contemporary Czech thirty to thirty-five-year-old. Amazingly, they seem impossible to sustain a permanent partner relationship and the film is full of anxiety, expressed by the protagonists, who unsuccessfully deal with their relationship problems. Is there nothing more? The interview was broadcast by the Czech TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 3rd July 2019.
