Abstract

With the planned obligation for internet platforms to obtain licences, the EU Copyright Directive harms the balance in copyright law, says law professor Martin Kretschmer. In his opinion it is unworkable. In any case, the European Court of Justice will soon make certain internet platforms liable for copyright infringements.
