Abstract

The aim of this study was to carry out an in-depth analysis of the attitudes and practices among ERC funded researchers in relation to the provision of Open Access (OA) to publications, research data management (RDM) and sharing, and attitudes and engagement with other Open Science (OS) practices more broadly. It aimed to identify not only common challenges encountered by ERC funded researchers, but also incentives and support available to them, in particular (but not only) at the level of ERC host institutions. As part of the study, country profiles have been developed for all EU countires. This profile presents the legal and policy framework relating to Open Access, Research Data Management, and Open Science in the UK.
