Abstract
This essay is a re-exploration of the brothers Robert and Andrew Foulis, renowned printers of Greek and Latin editions at the University of Glasgow in the middle of the eighteenth century. The two purposes of this essay are to correct historic assumptions of the location of the Academy in the College grounds; and to analyse the relationship between their production of books and artworks, inclusive of new readings and interpretations of the primary materials of both.
