Abstract

This paper presents the aerodynamic behavior of the upstroke and downstroke positions of the wing. We also present the kinematics of an Ornithopter wing when it flaps at different frequencies and to analyse the shape of the wing when flapping. Graphs obtained must be within a certain range so as not to lose control of the Ornithopter. A sample size of at least 3 complete strokes of the wing are presented. We also present the simplified equations of motion of a double-link flapping wing and design a control system whereby oscillations can be used to control the speed and position of the wing at different stages of flight.
