Abstract

There is now compelling evidence to suggest that the molecular heterogeneity of histologically indistinguishable cancers confers a broad range of outcomes and responses to therapeutic intervention. This chapter will briefly discuss the current landscape of imaging diagnostics and explore the role of molecular diagnostics in refining current therapeutic approaches for pancreatic cancer.
