Abstract

1. Average concentrations of cations in the blood of hydrated snails of eight species (Pulmonata; Stylommatophora) are presented. 2. These conform in general with the previously noted positive correlation between averages for calcium and magnesium and negative correlation between averages for magnesium and sodium; the range of osmolarity is extended, however.
