Abstract
A simple synthesis of vepridimerines A–D based on thermolysis of veprisine is presented. In addition, the structure of a novel synthetic veprisine dimer is reported. Since veprisine has been previously synthesized, this report constitutes the first total synthesis of the vepridimerines.
