Abstract
Jan Čulík interviews Bohuslav Binka the Head of the Department of Environmental Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic about the reasons why Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic and the regional capital of Moravia has, over the past decade or so, become a fast developing economic, educational and cultural centre, whose transformation into a major IT hub is particularly remarkable. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz from 24th March, 2017
