Abstract

1H and 13C NMR spectra of CDCl3 extracts of quarter-gram samples of liverworts show that Adelanthus decipiens contains 1,2-dimethoxy-3,4-methylenedioxynaphthalene and 1,4-dimethoxy-2,3-methylenedioxynaphthalene, and that Plagiochila atlantica contains the 2,3-secoaromadendrane plagiochiline C.
