Abstract

We present the results of a perturbative calculation to match the axial vector and vector currents for semileptonic B to D/(*) decays in lattice NRQCD to the continuum MS scheme. The matching is performed to O( alpha /sub s/p/M) in the Feynman gauge and in the on-shell renormalization scheme. The spatial and temporal components of the currents renormalize differently; to this order the matching involves a straightforward renormalization for the V/sub 0/ and A/sub k/ currents, and a rank 2 and 4 mixing matrix for the A/sub 0/ and V/sub k/ currents, respectively. The resultant one loop corrections are of O(5%), boding well for the accuracy of forthcoming simulations.
