Abstract

A helicity preserving near-infrared mirror with a reflection efficiency over 91% for incidence angles up to 60° on any arbitrary incidence plane is realized by establishing a unified design framework of artificial electromagnetic boundaries of metasurfaces for omnidirectional polarization control. Similar efficiency and angular range of operation are observed for cross-linear polarization conversion as well.
