Abstract
Shooting Stars (2005) was an installation and collaboration with Pete Dowling produced as part of an artist residency at Villa Waldberta, Feldafing, near Munich. The installation was presented as part of an evening of installations and performances in the Villa itself, which included works by video artist Irina Pasdarca, composer Christoph Reiserer, and performances from cellist Mathis Mayr and pianist Julia Schoelzel. The work used field recordings made in various ways around the Villa, capturing some of its acoustic perspectives and some of the characters in and around the house at the time. In that sense it is an anecdotal work, intended for presentation only in the house in which it was made, at that particular time.
