Abstract

The electrical impedance characteristics around the resonant frequency of a thickness extensional vibration mode lead metaniobate sample were measured from ambient temperature up to 100°C. The material constants under various temperatures were determined by a precise theoretical fitting process of the measured electrical impedance. The effect of higher temperatures on the material properties are presented and analysed.
