An account of the great eighteenth-century Gaelic poem, 'Praise of Ben Dorain' by Duncan Ban MacIntyre, in terms of its geopolitics, geographical and historical locations, the biography of its author, various translations of the poem into English from the 19th to the 20th and 21st centuries, including Alan Riach's own version.
