Abstract

The coordination chemistry of a polydentate, 3,3′-disubstituded bipyridine ligand is discussed, revealing its propensity to form a range of multinuclear complexes that include trimeric and tetrameric cluster topologies, as well as a 1-D chain with varying coordination isomerism.
